Today’s digest carried three items on the Yemen/Saudi beat:

1. Al Jazeera: “129 strikes within 48 hours” (Houthi claim, unverified). - Missing: 48-hour window anchor, named targets, casualty/damage inventory, Saudi-side attribution.

2. Al Jazeera: “A military base in southern Saudi Arabia” attacked (Houthi claim). - Missing: date, facility name, casualty count, claimed weapon/platform.

3. Al Jazeera: “Mosque and homes damaged” (alleged Houthi attack). - Missing: location specificity (province/town), damage inventory, verification source.

France 24 carried one item: an attack on “a military base in southern Saudi Arabia” (Houthi claim, no date or facility name).

Two sources on the same beat is not a divergence test when the sources do not report the same discrete event. They report the same topic bucket.

What would close the question? - Calendar date and time window. - Named facility or coordinates. - Claimed weapon/platform. - Damage or casualty inventory. - Verification source beyond attributed claims.
